A complex of single-storey pool villas between Nai Harn and Rawai.
Photo: TropicLookNiche Villas is a small complex of single-storey villas in the south of Phuket, between Nai Harn and Rawai.
Each villa has its own pool and garden. By the pool stands a sala, an open pavilion. The hip roofs have tiles and timber eaves.
Here we did a major villa renovation to a designer's project. We renewed everything: bathrooms, kitchen, electrics, facade and garden.
Inside it is now light: pale walls, warm wood, new lighting. Outside — a fresh facade, paths, a lawn and automatic watering.

What we did

Strip-out
Old bathrooms, kitchen, light fittings, sockets and air conditioners.
- 02
Bathrooms
Four bathrooms: tiles, showers, wall-hung vanities, lit mirrors. Extract fans to the outside.
- 03
Kitchen and living room
A kitchen with classic fronts and a marble splashback. Mouldings and a new chandelier.
- 04
Electrics and climate
Sockets and lighting to the designer's plan. New air conditioners and pipe runs.
- 05
Walls, ceilings, facade
Filler and paint. A timber ceiling. The facade, fence and a slatted canopy.

Garden
Levelled ground, tiled paths, a lawn and two-zone automatic watering.
